Design Services
Consultation
The initial step is to meet the client on site and establish the aims and aspirations for the garden or space in question. At this point an approximate overall budget will need to be out lined from which a written brief and design price structure for each design service can be agreed. As a general guide, design costs are often between 5-10% of the overall construction cost. Alternatively specific fees can be agreed for individual drawings or services.
Survey
In order to progress to the design process a topographical survey will need to be undertaken. This allows us to account for any existing structures within the garden such as trees, outbuildings etc. Any changes in level are also recorded as well as the gardens aspect.

Conceptual Design
Upon receiving the agreed surveying costs, a conceptual drawing will be produced based upon the agreed design brief. This will include a digitally produced overview of the site, as well as a 3D visualisation to give you an understanding of how the space will look. At this stage any queries can be discussed so that any amendments that may be required can be made.
Construction Detail and Specification
Once the various elements of the concept have been agreed upon. detailed construction drawings can be prepared so as the works can be tendered for. This will generally include various hard and soft landscape drawings with a materials specification and a plant schedule.
Tendering
When all the drawings and specifications have been finialised and agreed upon we will submit the tenders to three approved contractors. Then if required we can discuss and advise on which contractor best suits the proposed works. When established, if required we can then arrange a meeting to discuss and begin the works.
Construction Oversight
We are able to provide supervision throughout the construction process, through to completion. During which time we can offer any additional information that may be required and ensure works are progressing in the manner and to the standard they should. Depending upon the complexity of the job will generally determine the number of site visits required. If you choose to supervise the works yourself and require a site visit, the additional cost will be charged at an hourly basis.
